Born in Bremen, Germany in 1976, Ertuğrul Çakır graduated from Gazi University Department of painting Teaching in 1999 after completing his primary and secondary education in Ankara. Ceramic top, under glaze and over glaze painting, wooden top painting, exterior design and painting worked in the years of student. He started his career as a Visual Arts teacher in Fatih, Istanbul in 1999 between 2007 and 2012. He was responsible for Visual Design and illustrations in the writing Commission of religious culture and Ethics books.
In the program he organized in his workshop, the artist trained in many subjects, many experimental works took place. Felt work of 16,000 pieces with the theme of Noah's Ark became the first in the world. In Fatih, where he organized the sixth of the last year, his art programs attracted a lot of interest in the national and international art community.
Professional level model car, scale figure and collector artist oil painting, watercolor paint, caricature, sculpture and model making is doing professional work. The artist who works on wooden ship model, sculpture and bust construction at hobby level continues his teaching duties at Fatih Imam Hatip secondary school.
