The artist, also known as Gong Tian and Youngyang Yuzhe, was born in 1954 as the child of a Muslim family in Beijing. In 1972 he started painting education at the Beijing Academy of painting and took lessons from Prof. PAN Jiezi. He studied sumi and Gongbi techniques, influenced by masters such as REN Şuaiying and HUANG Jun.

He was a member of the Council of Culture and arts. The artist, the founder of the Chinese Islamic miniature school, now carries out many tasks. He worked for the China-Iran Friendship Association in the Foreign Affairs Friendship Association of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Minority National Art Commission Directorate in China Gongbi Painting Academy Institution, the China Muslim Culture and Art Institute in Peking Kai-Ming Hat and Painting Institute .He is a v professor at Beijing University's Middle East Research Center and Malaysia Central Art Institute, China Renmin University Art School and Peking Language University.

Since 1976, the artist who has participated in individual and mixed exhibitions in international organizations has won many awards. His well-known popular works include copper Master, Persian Woven ladies, Peace Ambassador Zheng He, and Harmonious Melody
