Ahmed Koçak

Ahmet Koçak was born in Elazığ in 1973 and graduated from the Department of industrial products design at Mimar Sinan University in 1998. He worked as a designer in various institutions for 10 years. He also made local tram and city furniture designs at Istanbul Ulaşım A.S. and Iston A.S. In 2001, He started Prof. Dr. Ali Alparslan's practical classes. In 2007, he received the gratification from David Bektaş and Hasan Çelebi. Between 2009 and 2011 he was Assistant to David Bektaş at the Süleymaniye Library.

Since 2009, Mr. Koçak has been working only with Calligraphy studies and has been working as a lecturer at Sebahattin Zaim University. The artist, who teaches at the Küçükçekmece traditional Art Academy and Fatih Sulukule Art Academy, is married and has three children, and continues his art works in his office in Fatih.
