Simanur Uzun

She was born in Istanbul in 1990. She graduated from Kadıköy Anadolu Imam-Hatip high school. In 2008, upon the encouragement of her mother, calligrapher Ayşen Uzun, she began to take illuminated manuscript course from Ayten Tiryaki ad she took license from her teacher, Tiryaki in 2012. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Eskişehir Anadolu University.   After graduating from the traditional Turkish arts Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University (FSMVÜ) in 2017, she started his master's degree in the Directorate of FSMVÜ Institute of Fine Arts. Mrs. Uzun , who has works in private collections and participated in various mixed exhibitions, took lessons from Davut Bektaş on sülüs and Rika, from Ali Toy on Rika, from Taner Alakuş on miniature .She continues to take lessons f from Mustafa N. Çelebi on illuminated manuscript.
