Born in 1957 in Ankara, Alparslan Babaoğlu, Ankara and Erzurum after completing primary and secondary education, was sent to England with a state scholarship. He graduated from the Department of Electronics engineering in 1979 with honors. He completed his master's degree in the same department in 1980 and returned to the country. Until 2011 he worked as an executive in public institutions.
In 1984, he started his work at the Topkapı Palace Nakişhane. He joined marbling art classes of Mustafa Düzgünman in 1985. In 1989, he received from Mustafa Düzgünman marbling art gratification. He gave marbling art lessons at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts. Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University, classical Turkish Arts Foundation, Küçükçekmece Municipality, Eyüp municipality and Albaraka Türk in institutions such as marbling art courses in 2008 marbling art Istanbul and the Turkish Marbling Art. In 2017, he published two books.
His works were exhibited in collections and private collections of institutions such as the Presidency, Prime Ministry, Central Bank, Albaraka Türk, Kuwaiti Türk. Mr. Babaoğlu participated in many mixed exhibitions.
