İsmail Çökük
He was born in Konya in 1982.
In 2006, he graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Traditional Turkish Arts Department of Gilding. In 2007 he started teaching gilding at Konya Enderun College. In 2008, he participated in the restoration of manuscripts at Konya Koyunoğlu Museum .In 2009-2012, he continued to give lectures on gilding at the Prime Ministry SODES and Ministry of Culture in Şanlıurfa.
He has a second merit award from 1st International Konya Turkish Islamic Arts Competition held in 2016. He has works on Presidential collection and works in various collections.
He has participated in mixed exhibitions both at home and abroad. He currently teaches gilding courses at Konya Metropolitan municipality in KOMEK courses. He continues his studies on gilding with his teacher Gülsüm GÜGERCIN.
